LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS

Americas Best Value Inn, Tahoe City is located in the center of Tahoe City between the lake and golf course on the northwest corner of Lake Tahoe. We are 45 miles from Reno, Nevada; 110 miles from Sacramento and only about six miles from the famous Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows ski resorts. We are known as the "family activity and recreation" area but only 11 miles from the North Shore Casinos.

FROM RENO/TAHOE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
Take US-395 to I-80 and go west about 30 miles. Just past Truckee, take US-89 south towards Squaw Valley and Tahoe City for about 13 miles. Americas Best Value Inn, Tahoe City is about 300 yards past the stop light.

FROM SANFRANCISCO OR WEST OF SACRAMENTO:
Take I-80 towards Reno (do not take US-50). Just before reaching Truckee, take US-89 South towards Squaw Valley and Tahoe City for about 13 miles. Americas Best Value Inn, Tahoe City is about 300 yards past the stop light.

FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (Via Interstate 5)
As you approach Sacramento, proceed past US-50 and turn East on I-80 towards Reno. Just before reaching Truckee, take US-89 South towards Squaw Valley and Tahoe City for about 13 miles. Americas Best Value Inn, Tahoe City is about 300 yards past the stop light.

FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (Via US-395)
Take US-395. Just before Carson City, take US-50 west towards Lake Tahoe. After going over Spooner Summit, turn right on Highway 28 and go past Incline Village and Kings Beach until you reach Tahoe City. Americas Best Value Inn, Tahoe City will be on your right, across from beautiful Lake Tahoe.
